During our road trip in 2019, we made a trip to Seaworld in San Antonio, and Celina was allowed to swim with the dolphins there. Because it was lovely there, we decided to visit the park with its “winter” decoration again at the end of November to get in the Christmas spirit.
It’s November 22, 2020, the sun is shining, and the temperature is a pleasant 25 degrees Celsius – so the Christmas decorations feel a bit… well, strange. But why not? After all, it is only four weeks until Santa Claus spreads the Christmas and winter (??) mood. The dolphins, orcas, or sea lions don’t care what time of year it is; they do their shows the same way. And even if now one or the other comes again with animal protection & Co: The mission of Seaworld is meanwhile significantly on Animal Rescue (animal protection, – rescue, and – assistance and above all also environmental protection for the oceans) changed. Since last summer, a lot has happened, especially in the area Dolphin Discovery is explicitly active in dolphin protection.

And with lighting in the evening, things look pretty different, and Celina gets another new friend…
