In spring, we already participated in the “Keep Austin Beautiful Day.” So it was a matter of course for us to actively support our community and our park on “It’s My Park Day” (even if getting up in the morning on a Saturday could not inspire everyone)!
The participants met at the park at 9:00 a.m. on the dot and first received their T-shirts. Yeah, another new t-shirt! This event was held at various parks in Austin, but Nicols Park was practically on our doorstep for us.
The yield this time was manageable, which is pleasing from an environmental point of view. But one will probably always find something. Afterward, we went home for lunch and a good feeling to have done something for the community is something nice! (Not to forget: also for this, there are the necessary community and study points!)
